Matteo Bologna is the founder and President of New York-based Mucca Design Corporation, where he also serves as Creative Director. Born and raised in Milan, Italy, Matteo’s grounding in architecture, graphic design, illustration and typography facilitated his early business successes and inspired his decision to create a New York agency.

Was a magazine illustrator in my early twenties, then I bought a Macintosh II, by consequence I became automatically a graphic designer.

Being interrupted and…certain clients.

All the Type Directors Club Annuals (disclosure: I’m in their Board of Directors). Some of my favorite designers are Louise Fili, Charles Spencer Anderson and Herb Lubalin.
