Last week I headed down to Philly to take part in a Town Hall Meeting for the Designers Accord. I found out about the Designers Accord more than a year ago and immediately adopted their mission as a part of my own efforts when I freelance. Their website states: “The Designers Accord is a global coalition of designers, educators, researchers, engineers, and corporate leaders, working together to create positive environmental and social impact. The Designers Accord is made up of over 150,000 members of the creative community, representing 100 countries, and each design discipline. ”

The meeting was excellent and I think I speak for most of the attendees when I say that a buzz certainly began to fill the space we were in as the night went on and speakers brought forward their ideas, concerns and suggestions. Thanks to the Bressler Group for being such gracious hosts. You can find out more about it over at Core77.
